| Started in 1999, Paul and Brandon
Lux created Lux Brothers Painting, Inc. as a venue for their combined
professional desires. Both entrepreneurs, they were convinced there
was a better way! They feel this business, and all it offers, is an
answer to their prayers. Paul and Brandon each believe in the Bible
as the inspired Word of God and Jesus Christ as their Lord and
Savior. They aspire to run this business and treat each customer and
employee in a way that honors this belief. The result has been a
successful painting business that communicates constantly with the
customer, thoroughly lists the work to be completed, finishes the
works in a timely fashion and to a high standard and has created an
extensive list of very happy customers.
Meet the team: |
|
Brandon has been working in most aspects of construction since
shortly after high school. While enjoying the creative aspect of his
jobs, he wanted to find a way he could work in the trades he loved
without being a part of the unprofessional behavior and substandard
work that leads to the often-deserved reputation of his peers.
Brandon supervises all work in the field and spends all his time on
customer sites and work. He lives in Livermore with his wife Jamie,
their new baby boy Reece and their assortment of animals. (Brandon
is the big one!) |
Paul graduated from California State University, Chico
and entered into business, eventually working in sales and business
management. After becoming disenchanted with the pace and inner
workings of the corporate world he left, and together with Brandon,
formed Lux Brothers Painting. He wanted to use his years of
experience in business to run a company that provided an excellent
value for the dollar, was honest and straightforward and would allow
him to spend more time with his family and less time with Interstate
680. Paul concentrates on all business aspects of the company and
personally meets with each customer to provide consultative
estimates. Paul also lives in Livermore with his college-sweetheart
wife Kristina and their four children, Kailey, Noah, Ethan and
Daphne. |
Jeremy Lux has been with us since 2000 and is our senior
painter/supervisor.
Jeremy is very talented with a brush and often thinks of innovative
ideas on the job. Besides great painting and thinking "outside of
the box" his role is to keep his older brothers from thinking they
are too important. When not painting, he can be found hanging out
with his wonderful longtime girlfriend Molly. Jeremy lives in
Dublin. |
|
Derek Shimada has been with us since 2004 and is a journeyman
painter/supervisor. Derek can do all aspects of painting and the
other services we offer and has been in the industry for over 15
years. Derek is an avid fisherman, but we try to keep him busy
painting. |
|
Jesse has been with us since 2004 and is an apprentice painter
who brings years of experience in a major hardware store chain. When
Jesse is not painting, he can be found tinkering with one of his
muscle cars. Jesse lives in Castro Valley. |
|
Matt Range has been with us since 2003 and is one of our
painters. Matt is an extremely pleasant young man who thinks highly
of most food. Matt lives in Pleasanton. |
|
Steve has been with us since 2004 and is our office manager. He
is probably the first one you'll talk to if you give us a call.
Steve graduated from California State University, Hayward in three
years! He is a great source of information as you first explore
hiring a professional painter. When not manning the helm at Lux
Brothers Painting, Steve can be found leading worship for Fuel at
Cornerstone Fellowship or in a striking spandex outfit at the gym.

We hold a current C-33 Painting and Decorating California State
Contractor's License. We carry all appropriate worker's compensation
insurance, are bonded according to law and carry $1,000,000.00 of
liability insurance .
In addition, Lux Brothers Painting performs extensive individual employee background

We have our own shop in downtown Pleasanton. Why is this
important? This means that, should you have restrictions at your
home, we can provide some services that others may not. We enjoy the
hospitality of the Robinette's as they offer the space for our shop
at their Window-ology facility. Window-ology provides affordable,
full service window covering services. Visit them at http://www.window-ology.com/.
